I am unbelievably excited to have eight amazing women and two adorable little girls standing next to me on my wedding day!
Karin Fields, Matron of Honor
Karin is my younger sister and life-long best friend. Whether holding pretend weddings to Zack Morris as children or splitting a bottle of wine while discussing the intricacies of life as an adult, Karin has been by my side. Although our relationship has changed over the years, we have never grown apart. Instead, we have grown together. Having a sister is a gift, and we make great strides to cultivate our relationship. Karin is the best sister in the world, and I can’t imagine anyone else standing next to me on my wedding day!
Amber Petiprin, Bridesmaid
Amber became my big sister when she married my brother on New Year’s Eve in 2005. She is loyal and has a big heart, and I know without a doubt that she is there for me no matter what. She cooks me dinner, gives me advice, and shares her children with me! I am grateful to my brother everyday for making Amber a member of our family. As she does every other day, I am thrilled that Amber will be supporting me on my wedding day!
Neke White, Bridesmaid
Neke is Chuck’s sister, but she is so much more than that to me. From the beginning, Neke and I have had a special relationship. Whether donning crazy hats for a “selfie” photoshoot in the middle of Georgia or participating in a human pyramid on New Years Eve, we always have fun when we are together. She is loving and welcoming and has made me feel like part of the family from the start. I am so glad that she will be standing by me when we make it official!
Molly Hedrick, Bridesmaid
Molly is my littlest cousin, but Karin and I have always considered her to be our little sister. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know and is unbelievably kind, but she is also fiercely stong and determined. Never, ever underestimate her because she will prove you wrong! We have a belief in our family that Molly really is the best of any of us. I am so proud of the adult that she has become, and I am so honored that she is making the trek down from Boston to be with me on my wedding day!
Katie Carr, Bridesmaid
Katie is also my cousin. She is free spirited, spunky, and tough. There is a beautiful dichotomy to Katie. She is both gorgeous and girly and rugged and strong - a combination that few can truly pull off. She is in the Navy, and outperforms the guys on a regular basis. She is also always the life of any party. If you are interested in meeting her at the wedding, you’ll likely find her on the dance floor! I am so excited that she is coming down from Maryland for the wedding!
Debbie Battles, Bridesmaid
Debbie is Chuck’s cousin and my very close friend! She regularly refers to Chuck as “Chuckie” and tells the greatest stories about him as a kid. She makes the best mojitos and tzatziki sauce, and she is always up for a good time. (The good times often include the aforementioned mojitos and tzatziki sauce!) She is extremely dedicated to her role as my bridesmaid. She addresses me as “bride” when she speaks to me and refers to herself as my “maid.” Did I mention she’s hilarious, too? She is one of my favortite people, and I am so honored that she agreed to be my “maid!”
Ruth Singer, Bridesmaid
I met Ruth through Chuck, and we became close friends very quickly. Ruth is a devoted friend who I can always count on to be there for me when I need her. (Even though she abandoned me and moved to Oklahoma!) She is empathetic, caring, and has a big heart. Whether watching the newest Twilight movie, talking about life over dinner, or texting each other across the country, Ruth and I have always been two peas in a pod. I am honored that she is trekking halfway across the United States with a one year old to be there for me on our wedding day!
Mary Ronzino, Bridesmaid
I met Mary while working together at Carrabba’s, and we quickly became inseperable. Mary has been there for me in more ways than I could ever articulate. Over the past five years, she has celebrated with me during the good times and comforted me during the bad. Our friendship has stood the test of time through several big life transitions, and I have no doubt that we will be friends for the long haul. When I picture my wedding day, I can not imagine Mary not being there beside me, and I am so grateful that she agreed to be a bridesmaid!
Jenna White, Flowergirl
Although Jenna is Chuck’s niece biologically, she is definitely also my niece in my heart! She had just turned two when I started dating Chuck, and it is amazing to see how she has grown and changed in four years. When I met her, she was barely talking and now she is acing tests in the 1st grade! She is smart, sweet, beautiful, and big-hearted. I am so excited to see what the future holds for her, and I can’t wait to become her Aunt…officially!
Aimee Petiprin, Flowergirl
Aimee is my niece. She is fearless, determined, full of life and hilarious. She is also completely adorable – if I do say so myself! It is so fun to watch her with her big brother. The way they interact reminds me so much of my brother and me when we were little. She wants to do everything Alex does and doesn’t understand why she isn’t always able to! She is a complete joy and so much fun. I am blessed to be her Aunt, and I can’t wait to see her all dressed up on my wedding day.
